SUP Norway and Bart Scholtissen Change & Development have come together to offer a remarkable and unique experience.
We will take just ten people on a five day Stand Up paddle expedition through the most beautiful of the Norwegian fjords.
Whilst immersing ourselves in these truly awe inspiring surroundings we will explore our own personal development using nature as a mirror.
“The earth has music for those that listen” – George Santayana
STAND UP PADDLING
In a survey conducted by ‘National Geographic Traveller Magazine’ the fjords of Norway were selected as the number one unspoiled travel spot from a list of 115 destinations around the world!
SUP is the perfect way for you to unobtrusively engage with this ecosystem. There’s a special feeling you get, standing on your SUP next to a 4500 ft mountain knowing there’s a 3000 ft deep fjord under your feet.
See schools of ‘niser’ (a local type of porpoise), majestic sea eagles and seals almost every day. Around every corner is another breathtaking scene, another perfect waterfall, another surprise.
If you are after adventure and incredible nature, you can find it here on the Discovery Expedition.
CHANGE & DEVELOPMENT
‘Guided change’ with Bart Scholtissen:
To me there are two absolutes in life: One, that life has a beginning and that it has an end. The other is certainty that between these two moments, there is CHANGE.
Many people see change as something exciting but sometimes it can be perceived as negative or even frightening. This is not surprising and may even seem familiar to you, it is a common part of the human condition. This perception of negativity causes imbalance in your life. Nature is always looking for balance. If you create imbalance through false perceptions then you create STRESS. By going into nature you will reconnect with your own nature, and create a new more stable form of balance.
By changing your mindset about the way you encounter the changes and stress on your path from a closed to a more open and positive one, you can ensure that life becomes simple and less stressful again. You can focus on the things that really empower you and therefore create better balance and flow.
The process of guided change is undertaken with passion and joy. Being removed from the comfort zone of your normal home and work environment and being in open nature enables you to work on the change process more efficiently. Experience has shown that when bringing people back into contact with nature they quickly experience a profound sense of peace and from here, the ability to create powerful change and harmony in their lives. So lets get back to your nature!
“I would like to see if together, we can make a connection and guide you through your question and especially the way to the answer”
– Bart Scholtissen
Sognefjord is the largest & deepest navigable fjord in the world and one of it’s arms – Nærøyfjord – is undoubtedly the most spectacular.
Imagine paddling beautiful Nærøyfjord, surrounded by shear mountains and snow-covered peaks that stand 1700 meters above sea level, with thundering waterfalls and picturesque villages along it’s length.
The sheer grandeur of Nærøyfjord assails the senses and your perspective is often challenged as you paddle past neck-achingly high cliffs.
The Nærøyfjord is a truly stunning, majestic place and a UNESCO world heritage site of outstanding beauty. At 17 km long and only 250 metres wide at the narrowest point, stand up paddling through Nærøyfjord is one of the most dramatic fjord trips there is.
